It was a Thursday split for the Hampton basketball programs. The Lady Bulldogs picked up a 48-35 home win over Johnson County, while the Longhorns edged Hampton 58-55. In the girls’ game, Hampton used a strong second quarter to pull away. After leading 16-10 after a quarter of play, the Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Longhorns 12-4 in the second to take a 28-14 lead into the half.
