“There were a lot of good teams and a lot of people who got a lot of good work,” Hampton Head Coach Mike Lunsford said. “We played our two games into the final four, and I was proud of that. It is not football, but it is similar.”

“It is not realistic but it is good because it is hard,” Cloudland Head Coach Brock Pittman said. “A lot of people will play straight man with two high safeties, and that is hard to throw on. It is good work for your quarterback to throw on and find the windows.”

“We got new kids and one of our best kids didn’t play Friday,” Unaka Head Coach Steve McKinney said. “When he is in the lineup he makes us all better. I think we got stuff out of this because I see kids who can play the positions. We just have to work at it and get better.”
