Cloudland and Hampton learned their second-round playoffs last night. Both the ‘Landers and Dogs received first-round byes courtesy of their No. 2 seeding.

In Class 2A, the Bulldogs will host Knoxville Grace Christian on Friday night at JC Campbell Stadium. The Rams improved to 8-3 with a 35-23 first-round victory over Meigs County. Grace Christian is a former conference mate of Hampton, and the Bulldogs won the last meeting 38-29 in 2008.

The winner will advance to play the winner of No. 1 Oneida and No. 5 Rockwood with the highest remaining seed hosting.

In Class A, the ‘Landers will welcome Coalfield to Orr Field. The Yellow Jackets advanced after a 8-6 victory over Harriman on Friday night, and are 7-4 in the season. Coalfield defeated Cloudland 38-14 in the last meeting which was in 2012.

The winner will advance to play the winner of the No. 1 Greenback and No. 4 Sunbright game with the highest remaining seed hosting.

All kickoffs on Friday night are at 7 p.m.
