The Cloudland offense sent a statement on Friday night against Happy Valley. For their performance, the Cloudland offense was named the Applebee’s Unit of the Week.
The ‘Landers’ offense racked up 326 yards behind solid line play and the legs of seniors Colby Birchfield and Austin Whitehead. Whitehead finished the game with 131 yards on 24 carries, and also went 6-of-10 passing for 83 yards. Birchfield finished the game with 112 yards on 22 carries.
Noah Arnett tallied 40 total offensive yards.
Cloudland’s offense joins Hampton’s defense as the first two honorees for Unit of the Week.
The ‘Landers hit the road on Friday night with the trip to Oakdale to open region play.
