With an incredible effort, Hampton’s Hunter Davenport has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 7.
The senior running back tallied 231 yards on 21 carries in the Bulldogs’ heartbreaking loss to Sullivan North. Davenport finished the game with four touchdowns.
For the season, Davenport has recorded 844 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Davenport and company return to action on Friday night as they welcome Cloudland to J.C. Campbell Stadium.
