Another Friday night, another impressive victory for Elizabethton.

The Cyclones rolled through soggy conditions as they picked up a 55-20 victory over Sullivan North on Friday night in Kingsport.

The win moves Elizabethton to 6-1 overall.

The Cyclones struck first as Caleb Armstrong scored from 55 and 20 yards out to take a two-score lead. Caleb Jones got in the scoring act later in the stanza as he scored from 45 yards out as Elizabethton took a 20-0 advantage into the second stanza.

Sullivan North got on the board first in the second quarter as the two-point conversion trimmed the lead to 20-8, but Ethan Thomas answered as he scored from 21-yards out.

With a minute before half, the Raiders added another rushing touchdown, this one from four yards out, but Thomas broke free for a 60-yard touchdown to give Elizabethton a 33-14 lead at the half.

Sullivan North trimmed the lead to just 13 points with a score midway through the third quarter. However, Armstrong looked to the air as he hit Markus Olds for a 54-yard touchdown strike, and Thomas added the two-point conversion.

Thomas added another score after the defense forced a turnover on downs, and Jeremiah Turner wrapped up the night with a 15-yard touchdown run.
Thomas finished the game with 186 yards, while Jones added 119 yards on the ground. Armstrong recorded 83 yards rushing.

The Cyclones will host Johnson County next Friday night.
