Elizabethton Sweeps Science Hill

It was a winning night for the Cyclones on Tuesday night as the Cyclones dispatched Science Hill in both varsity contests. The Lady Cyclones claimed a 68-53 victory to move to 2-0 on the season, while the Cyclones held on to take a 73-68 victory.

In the girls’ game, Kayla Marosites led the way with 28 points, while Kelci Marosites tossed in 10 points. Megan Pietrowski and Melenda Perry added nine points apiece. Elizabethton led 27-26 at the half after Science Hill had trimmed a 20-8 lead.

Tyler Nichols tossed in 22 points to lead Elizabethton past Science Hill in the boys game. Michael Robinson hit three late threes to spark the Cyclones and he finished with 14 points. Austin Cornett had 10 points.
