After a misstep last week, the Bulldogs were back to their normal ways on Friday night.
Hampton jumped out early and never looked back as they took a 48-6 victory over Unaka in the Mountain East Conference opener on Stoney Creek.
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 2-1, while the Rangers fall to 0-3 on the season.
Hampton jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, and an interception pushed the Bulldogs lead to 20-0 early in the second quarter. Offensive touchdowns propelled Hampton to a 33-0 lead at the half.
The Bulldogs struck again with just over eight minutes to play with a touchdown. In the fourth quarter, the Rangers finally got on the board.
Unaka will be off next week, while the Bulldogs will host Happy Valley.
