Happy Valley blasts Huskies

The Warriors scored early and often on Friday night.

Happy Valley rolled to a 60-6 road victory over North Greene to move to 7-0 on the season.


Dylan Street broke onto the board with a 15-yard touchdown for HV, and Austin Hicks pushed the advantage to 14-0 with a 26-yard scamper. Hicks pushed the Warrior lead to 20-0 with a 12-yard run to close out the first quarter.

From there, Happy Valley continued to keep rolling as they took a 34-6 advantage into the half. Street and Hicks added scores in the third to push the advantage to 40 points after three quarters of play. Will Tittle closed out the scoring with a 37-yard touchdown run.

Happy Valley finished the game with 343 rushing yards as a team as Street and Hicks tallied 109 and 92 yards, respectively.

Sam Blevins led the defense as he nabbed two interceptions.
