In the boys’ game, Happy Valley stayed within striking distance for much of the first half, but East took a 33-22 advantage into the half.

In the third quarter, the Patriots came out on a mission. SE started on a 22-4 to take control and never looked back despite a hard-fought Warrior effort.
Dakota Cochran paced Happy Valley with 12 points. Sullivan East had three players reach double-digits.

In the girls’ game, the Lady Warriors were unable to recover from an early Lady Patriot run.

Sullivan East started the game on a 22-6 tear to take control and take a 33-16 lead into the half.

Happy Valley, however, wasn’t going down without a fight.

The Lady Warriors went on a 9-0 run to pull within eight points. That was as close as HV could get as Sullivan East snapped the run and went on one of their own.

Emily Lunceford had 10 points to lead HV.
