The Lady Cyclones kept on rolling.
Elizabethton improved to 6-0 on the season with an 82-25 win over CAK on Saturday. The Cyclones, however, weren’t so lucky as they fell 66-56 to the Warriors.
After jumping out to a 16-6 lead in the first quarter, the Lady Cyclones outscored CAK 31-15 in the second quarter, and then limited the Lady Warriors to just four total points in the second half.
Kayla Marosites led the way with 21 points, while Haley Burleson tallied 16 points in the game. Emily Schubert finished with 13 points. Kelci Marosites had 11 points in the game.
In the boys’ game, Elizabethton had a chance late, but was unable to secure the win.
CAK took the victory with 37 points from Hunter Reynolds. The Cyclones made a late rally to pull within five during the fourth quarter, and later closed the deficit to two points. However, a quick 7-0 CAK run proved to be difference.
Michael Robinson had 22 points, while Bo Pless added 20 points in the game. Jalen Smith tossed in 10 points for Elizabethton.
