A pair of Carter County’s own will look to start off the 2015 mixed-martial arts season with a bang next Saturday.

It all boils down to the first big fight night of the year for Adam “Primetime” Townsend and Dustin “Hands of Stone” Long take part in Apex Fights 4 set for Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Dickie Warren Dome on Sullivan Central High School’s campus in Blountville.
Townsend (11-3) caps off the night with a highly anticipated with “Relentless” Craig Johnson while Long will square off in the co-main event against Dameon Melton.
The duo, along with Dustin Walden, Caleb Cupp, Brad Austin and Steve Thomas, took to Evolution Sports Gym on Saturday, Jan. 3, for their pre-fight camps to prepare for the event.
