A school record breaking performance stood out above the rest in Week 8.

Hampton’s Adam McClain has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 8. It is the second time McClain earned the honor this season.

The senior running back recorded 339 yards on 26 carries against Sullivan North in a crucial Hampton victory over Sullivan North. McClain set the school record for a single-game rushing – which was held by Phillip Waters.

Hampton moved to 6-1 on the season with the win.

McClain and company are set to travel to South Greene on Friday night.
