Sullivan South 12, Happy Valley 2 (Baseball)
The Warriors were unable to keep pace with the Rebel bats in a Three Rivers clash.
South scored four runs in the opening frame, and the Warriors countered for two of their own in the home side. The Rebels, however, added four runs over the next two innings to take control.
Jacob Absher and Bart Wilson each recorded a hit for HV.
Nolan Easlic was handed the loss on the mound as he allowed just four earned runs on six hits.
Grove City (OH) 10, Elizabethton 1 (softball)
The Lady Cyclones were unable to recover from an early deficit in their first game of Spring Break at Myrtle Beach.
Grove Park jumped out to a 9-0 lead after two innings. Elizabethton played their opponent even the rest of their way, but was unable to dig into the gap.
Maggie Johnson, Maci West and Kira Dillard all went 1-for-2 for EHS.
Sullivan North 15, Hampton 13 (baseball)
In a wild and controversial game, the Bulldogs were unable to complete a rally before the game was called for darkness after the sixth inning.
The Bulldogs erased a 4-0 deficit to take a 7-4 advantage before North tied it at 10-10 in the fifth. The final runs were scored in the sixth inning with North edging ahead to take the win.
Josh Owens tallied three hits for the Bulldogs. Caleb Oaks and Dalton Rouse added two hits. Brett Deaton also recorded a three-run triple in the game.
