Cloudland 41, Unicoi 36 (girls)
The Lady ‘Landers picked up a road win on Monday night.

Shian Strickland had 13 points to go along with 15 rebounds to pace Cloudland. CHS jumped out to a 12-7 lead in the first half, and held on to a 18-16 halftime advantage.

Trinity Vines added nine points for the Lady ‘Landers. Lisa Ellis and Stachia Wilson had six and four points, respectively.

Allee Griffith had a game-high 17 points for the Lady Blue Devils.

Unicoi 56, Cloudland 46 (boys)
The ‘Landers were unable to recover from a first-quarter blitz on Monday evening.

Unicoi County raced to a 21-7 lead over the ‘Landers, and Cloudland was unable to rally back.

Preston Benfield had 12 points to lead Cloudland, while sophomore Josh Blair added 11 points. Brinkley Mull had eight points. Jason Potter tossed in six points for the Cloudland cause.

Trevor Hensley had 19 points to lead the Blue Devils.

Hampton 64, Johnson County 60 (boys)
Hampton used a strong performance from Wyatt Lyons and Chris Holtsclaw to take a 64-60 overtime victory on Monday night at Johnson County.

Lyons and Holtsclaw had 18 and 14 points, respectively, to lead Hampton. Senior Adam McClain had 13 points, while Jose Velaquez added six points.

Bud Icenhour had 15 points to lead Johnson County.
