It was a clean sweep for the Cloudland basketball programs.
The ‘Landers and Lady ‘Landers picked up wins on Thursday night against West Greene to open the season at 1-0. Cloudland’s boys picked up a 59-51 victory while the Lady ‘Landers took a 57-36 win over the Lady Buffaloes.
The Cloudland girls were paced by Trinity Vines’ 16 points along with Stachia Wilson’s 11 points, while Shian Strickland tallied 10 points in the game. Lisa Ellis added eight points to the CHS cause.
Cloudland’s boys were led by Robert Leeper who tallied 25 points. Josh Blair scored 15 points for Cloudland. Jason Potter, Brinkley Mull and Hunter Shell had six points apiece.
