Elizabethton and Cloudland kicked off the 2017 Wayne Hodge Classic on Friday.
The Cyclones picked up an 8-2 win over North Greene in addition to an 8-1 victory over Volunteer to enter the second day with a 2-0 mark.
Cloudland was unable to shake off early errors as they dropped a 16-2 decision to Grainger and a 9-1 loss to Sullivan Central.
The second-day schedule has seen some changes as all games at Elizabethton High have been moved to Little League Field 2. Action begins at 9 a.m. with pool play. Bracket play is set to start at 12:30 p.m.
