The Hampton football team continued preparations for the 2018 season on Friday evening.
The Bulldogs made the trek to Erwin for a scrimmage against the Blue Devils. It is the lone scrimmage that Hampton will participate in this preseason, and the scrimmage was moved from Hampton to Erwin due to field conditions.
Hampton will wrap up preseason on August 10 with the Carter County Jamboree at JC Campbell Stadium. The Bulldogs are set to open the 2018 campaign on August 17 at home against Trinity Academy.
