Next season will start a new era for the Cloudland football program.

Sources have confirmed that Brock Pittman has been relieved of his head coaching duties of the Highlander program. The team was informed on Friday afternoon of the change.

“We decided to go in a different direction with the football team,” Cloudland principal Jonathan Fontanez said in a statement.

The replacement for Cloudland was not immediately named.

Pittman led the ‘Landers to their first Region 1-A title this past season before falling to Coalfield in the first round of the playoffs.

Pittman led Cloudland to a 31-14 record during his tenure with the ‘Landers.
