Potter earns Climate Controllers honors

A special performance stood out in Week 2.

Hampton’s Lane Potter had a strong performance offensively as well as a key defensive play that earned him Climate Controllers Player of the Week award for Week 2.

Potter had 111 yards rushing on 22 carries including a first-quarter touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, Potter had a strong performance that was topped off by swiping a pass away in the game’s closing seconds to secure the win for the Bulldogs.

The senior joins Elizabethton’s Parker Hughes as Climate Controllers Player of the Week for 2018.

Potter and company are set to host Happy Valley in a crucial Region 1-2A game on Friday night.
