Unaka was unable to get back on track on Friday night.

The Rangers were unable to keep pace with a hot Unicoi County in a 42-0 decision on Stoney Creek in non conference action.

Unaka falls to 1-6 on the season with the loss.

The Blue Devils jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter, and extended the advantage to 35-0 at the break.

John Boy Ramsey was 14-of-29 for 90 yards to lead Unaka offensively, while Logan Benway had 31 rushing yards.

The Rangers return to action Friday night as Hancock County will make the trip to the Creek as the second game of a three-game homestand.
