The Lady Rangers returned to action with style on Saturday.
Unaka spilt a non conference doibleheader in Mountain City as the Rangers fell to the Longhorns 61-57 and the Lady Rangers rolled to a 66-30 win.
The games were moved up from Monday due to weather, and followed Johnson County’s games with Elizabethton earlier in the day on Saturday.
For the Rangers, Colton Chambers surpassed 500 points and 300 rebounds for the season with a 27 point, 13 rebound performance to power Unaka. Kyle Lewis added 12 points.
John Boy Ramsey added 11 points to the Ranger cause..
For the Lady Rangers, Hannah Tipton scored 23 points to lead UHS to the win. Sierra Wright added 12 points to the Unaka cause.
