One Warrior has been knocking on the door all season of earning player of the week honors. However, he broke through it on Friday night.

Happy Valley’s Dylan Street powered the Warriors to a Homecoming victory over North Greene to earn our Climate Controllers’ Player of the Week for Week 8.

Street tallied 187 yards on 10 carries to average just under 19 yards per carry. The running back recorded three touchdowns- two from 66 yards and another from two yards out.

The win kept the Warriors playoff hopes alive with a 4-3 overall record – Happy Valley is 2-2 in region play.

The Happy Valley standout joins Hampton’s Coby Jones, Hampton’s Jerry Lunsford, Cloudland’s Colby Birchfield, Unaka’s Micah Hunt and Elizabethton’s Jacob Turner as honorees this season.

Street and company travel to Gatlinburg-Pittman on Friday night.
