Unaka jumped out early to take a 1-0 lead in the first inning as Davy Ensor scored on a passed ball. The Rangers pushed the to 4-0 with three runs in the top of the third.
Hampton dug into the Unaka lead with three runs of their own heading to the fourth.
John Wesley Hardin added a run in the fifth for Unaka with a homer to left field, but Hampton struck back as Wyatt Lyons scored on a Unaka passed ball.
Neither team was able to plate a run in the closing stages of the game.
Bryson Street had a 2-for-3 performance for the Rangers at the plate.
For the Bulldogs, Dalton Blair went 2-for-3. As a team, Unaka had seven hits with Hampton tallying five hits.
Hardin allowed one earned run on three hits for Unaka, while Dalton Rouse had one earned run on four hits.
