Elizabethton 12, Unicoi County 7 (softball)
The Lady Cyclones found the offense when they needed it the most.

Elizabethton erased a 7-5 deficit in the sixth with a four-run inning and added three more in the seventh pull away for a key conference win at Unicoi County.

Maci West hit a pair of two-run homeruns while Haley Fair added another home run to the Elizabethton cause.

At the plate, Hannah Edwards recorded three hits, while Kaylin Shell, Lauren Brickey, Kira Dillard, Maggie Johnson and West had two hits apiece.

Fair finished with four RBI.

In the circle, Brickey picked up the win as she allowed just two earned runs on six hits in just over three innings of work.


Unaka 11, South Greene 0 (softball)
The Lady Rangers dominated former district foe South Greene in an 11-0 victory on Wednesday.

Five Lady Rangers – Madison Pierce, Madison Ensor, Katlyn Weaver, Sarah Tipton and Lily Kiser – recorded multiple hits to help power the Unaka offense.

Corie Schuettler allowed just three hits as she picked up the shutout win.

Elizabethton 13, Sullivan South 5 (baseball)
The Cyclones scored six runs in the third inning to pull away from the Rebels for the victory.

Ethan Eggleston, Evan Carter, Logan Estep, and Matthew Dailey all recorded two hits for EHS. Lawson Wagner had three RBI, while Evan Perkins, Carter, Estep and Dailey added two apiece.

Atop the mound, Tre Shoun picked up the win as he allowed just three earned runs on seven hits in four innings of work.

Johnson County 11, Happy Valley 4 (Baseball)
Will Hampton went 2-for-3 but the Warriors were unable to counter Johnson County in a Three Rivers Clash.

Hampton also added a run and a RBI to his stat line. The Warriors took an early lead in the game as Nolan Easlic and Jacob Absher pushed runs across the plate to give HV a 2-0 advantage.
