“We made some mistakes early on defense. If you play a good team and make a mistake, you aren’t going to rush the ball like we did tonight against a good football team. We have to correct the mistakes, but at the end of the day we got the job done.”

“We are in a position kind of like last year. We are 3-0 but could have easily gone the other way. We have a huge game next week against Johnson County.”
-Cloudland Head Coach Brock Pittman

They have got some really good ball players. We did a good job containing early, but they just pound on you and pound on you, then they finally broke through. When you get behind like that, the game plan changes on you and it gets away. It was a closer ball game then the scoreboard indicated.”

“We’ve improved every week. First week, we played a very good opponent and we played terrible. Last week we played a little better then got a little better this week. We are taking baby steps with a young game, and that is what you want. You want to see improvement, and we saw improvement especially in the first quarter tonight.”
-Cosby Head Coach Kevin Hall
