Eric Wilson delivered when Elizabethton needed a shot.

Wilson knocked down a bucket at the buzzer to power the Cyclones to a 47-46 victory at Sullivan Central on Thursday afternoon.

With a pair of 3-pointers from Adam Cornett, Elizabethton took a 12-9 lead after eight minutes of play. EHS saw five players get in the book during the second quarter and the Cyclones maintained a 28-23 at the half.

After EHS took a 37-34 lead into the fourth quarter, the Cougars bounced ahead late in the quarter. Wilson and the Cyclones, however, weren’t going to be denied.
