Chick-Fil-A Classic (boys)
Ridgeway 90, Elizabethton 52
In a game that was closer then the final score indicated, Elizabethton was unable to keep up with a fast-paced offensive attack in the latter stages of the game.

Elizabethton trailed 25-11 at the end of the first, but continued to dig back into the game. EHS cut the lead to nine points in the third quarter. However, the Ridgeway attack came back with a vengeance and raced to the win.

Adam Cornett had 14 points to lead EHS. Eric Wilson added 13 points.

The Cyclones will take on University School of Nashville for third-place at 6:30 on Friday.

Lighthouse Christian 70, Happy Valley 43
The Warriors saw a sluggish third quarter too much to overcome against Lighthouse Christian.

HV stayed right with the Lions as they trailed 14-8 at the end of the first quarter and answered a LC run to end half down 31-19.

The third quarter, however, wasn’t quite so friendly for the Warriors as Lighthouse pushed the lead to 55-32 going to the fourth quarter.

Brayden Sams had 21 points for the Warriors despite missing part of the third quarter.

HV will play Chuckey-Doak at 3:30 Friday in the seventh-place game.

Sullivan East 70, Happy Valley 49 (girls)
The Lady Warriors were edged by Three Rivers foe Sullivan East in the Doc Maples Classic in Bristol.

Adrienne Henegar had 14 points to lead the way, while Haley Greene added 13 points. Kate Roberts added nine points to the HV cause.
