The brackets are set for the District 1-AA Baseball and Softball Tournaments.
The softball tournament is set to open on Wednesday, May 1, while the baseball tournament will begin on Thursday, May 2.
Both tournaments will send the top-two teams to the Region tournament.
In the District 1-AA Baseball tournament, No. 6 Happy Valley will open the tournament against No. 7 Sullivan Central at Joe O’Brien Field in Elizabethton on Thursday with a 6 p.m., first pitch. The winner of that game will advance while the loser will see their season come to a close
Top-seeded Elizabethton will open the tournament on Saturday against the winner of No. 4 Johnson County and No. 5 Unicoi County contest. That game is set for a 2:30p.m., first pitch at Joe O’Brien Field.
After Saturday’s action, the tournament will move to TVA Credit Union Park in Johnson City.

In the District 1-AA Softball tournament, Happy Valley opens the tournament on Wednesday at 5:30p.m., at Elizabethton High School in a play-in game. The winner will advance to take on Sullivan South, while the other will see their season come to a close.
Elizabethton will open the tournament on Thursday against Sullivan Central. That first pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. The tournament is slated to be held at Sullivan East.
