Elizabethton was unable to overcome a sluggish start on Tuesday night.
The Cyclones fell behind early and dropped a 61-36 decision to Greeneville in the Region 1-AA Semifinals to end the season.
Elizabethton was unable to get shots to fall in the early going, while Greeneville was feeling it.
The Greene Devils jumped out to a 10-2 lead and then pushed the advantage to 23-8 after a quarter of play.
In the second quarter, the Cyclones were outscored 11-2 as GHS held a 34-10 halftime lead.
Elizabethton continued to fight and battle hard in the second half, but they were unable to make a dent into the Greeneville lead.
Jake Roberts had 15 points to lead the Cyclones, while William Willocks tossed in seven points.
Jakobi Gillespie and Reid Satterfield had 17 points apiece to lead Greeneville – who will take on Sullivan East Thursday night in the Region 1-AA Championship game.
