Elizabethton was unable to battle back from an early deficit.

Elizabethton is set to square off against Unicoi County at Joe O’Brien Field at 7:30p in an elimination contest.
After the Vikings had a big inning to open the game, EHS got on the board with a single run in the third when Brilee Hurley scored off a Jeriah Griffin knock.
Neither team was able to back on the board until the sixth when Tennessee High added a run.
Elizabethton looked to rally as Zak Workman crossed home plate in the top of the seventh after Hayden Nave put the ball in play, but the Cyclones were unable to keep the rally going.
Ethan Meier, Peyton Johnson, Workman each had a hit in the contest for EHS.
Johnson struck out eight batters on the mound in just under five innings of work as he allowed three earned runs on four hits.
