The brackets are set for the District tournaments as the Road to the Spring Fling begins.
The top two teams in each tournament will advance to the Region tournament. Complete brackets are below.
For 1-AA baseball, the double elimination tournament is set to begin on Friday, May 4 at J. Fred Johnson Stadium in Kingsport. Times for Saturday have not been finalized.
The District 1-AA Softball tournament started on Wednesday with Happy Valley picking up a 12-2 win over Sullivan North in the play-in game. The tournament will feature games on Thursday and Friday before breaking for the weekend and picking back up on Monday. The double-elimination tournament is being hosted at Unicoi County.
District 1-A Baseball is set to get started on Friday with a pair of play-in games at higher seeds. After the play-in games, the tournament will move to David Crockett High School and have a double-elimination format.
On the District 1-A softball side, the tournament is set to begin on Monday at ETSU. The first two games are play-in games, and then the tournament will move to double-elimination. The tournament will play Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with an if necessary game on Friday.
