Elizabethton remained the top team in Class 4A.
The Cyclones were the unanimous No. 1 team in this week’s edition of the Tennessee AP Prep Football polls.
EHS recorded 150 points and all 15 first-place votes after steamrolling past Sullivan East on Friday night. Elizabethton was separated from No. 2 Hardin County by 19 points.
Marshall County, Anderson County, and East Hamilton rounded out the top five. Elizabethton’s region foe Greeneville fell to No. 7 in this week’s ranking.
Elizabethton is off this week for their traditional bye week.
