Elizabethton football is going to kick off the 2021 season in a different venue than anticipated.
Science Hill has announced that the season opener contest between the Cyclones and Hilltoppers will be played at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium at East Tennessee State on Friday, August 20.
The game was moved due to turf installation at Science Hill’s Kermit Tipton Stadium.
The kickoff will be at 7p, and ticket information will be announced closer to the date of the game.
Elizabethton has won the last three meetings against the Class 6A school – including last year’s 30-8 win inside Citizens Bank Stadium.
