The accolades keep coming for Elizabethton Head Coach Shawn Witten.

Witten was named the 2019 Tennessee Titans High School Coach of the Year. Elizabethton finished the year 15-0 after dispatching Springfield 30-6 in the Class 4A State Championship game on Saturday.

It was the first title for the Cyclones in the modern era.

As the 2019 Tennessee Titans Coach of the Year, the Cyclone program will receive a $2,000 grant, and Witten has received an All-expense paid trip to the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando.

The Coach is also qualified for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year award.

Witten is 121-41 in 13 seasons at the helm of the Elizabethton program.
