Saturday will be a busy day on Warrior Hill.
The Happy Valley Football program is hosting the 2019 Meet the Warriors on Saturday, Aug. 3, to help kickoff the season.
New for this year will be a free mini youth club minicamp and youth coaching clinic for players and coaches that are associated with the Junior Warriors association. The coaching clinic and minicamp are set to start at 5:30p.m., and run to 6:30 p.m.
“It is a great way for our players to give back to our community that gives us so much support, and a nice jumpstart to help build enthusiasm for everyone’s seasons,” Head Coach Jason Jarrett said.
The Meet the Warriors event will kickoff at 7 p.m., as the high school football and cheerleaders will be introduced along with the middle school and youth club football and cheerleading teams.
The Happy Valley Gridiron Club will be providing inflatables for kids to enjoy. Concessions will be sold at the event as well as Warpath bricks, season tickets, parking spaces and souvenirs.
