Happy Valley kept the momentum going on Friday night.
The Warriors pulled away for a 33-13 nonconference win over Unicoi County in Erwin.
With the win, HV improves to 3-0 on the season.
After the Blue Devils struck first on a short touchdown run, Will Tittle answered on a 13-yard run to give the Warriors a 7-6 lead after a quarter of play.
In the second quarter, Tittle scored his second touchdown of the night to send HV into the locker room with a 13-6 advantage.
Brayden Sams opened the scoring in the third quarter with a 10-yard run. The quarterback added the two-point conversion as HV took a 14-point lead. Sams struck again as the Warriors just over a minute later as HV took a 27-6 lead into the final quarter.
The Blue Devils got on the board to open the fourth quarter. However, Troy Podvin caught a 24-yard pass as HV secured the win in the final minutes.
Tittle finished with 108 yards rushing along with an interception. Sams tallied 94 yards on the ground.
