Happy Valley’s Michael Harrah added another prestigious honor to his resume.
The senior was selected to participate in the 2019 Food City Border Bowl as a punter and kicker. The 6-foot-4 kicker was the lone selection from Carter County.
Harrah will handle all the kicking duties for the Tennessee team as they take on the Georgia team on Saturday at Sevier County High School in Sevierville.
Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. Prior to the Tennessee-Georgia game, Kentucky and North Carolina will clash at 12 p.m.
Harrah was a steady force on special teams for the Warriors over the past three seasons. He was named the Special Teams Player of the Year for Region 1-2A this past season, and was also selected to the 2018 All-Carter County Team and Co-Specialist of the Year.
