Elizabethton was unable to answer a late burst from Tennessee High.
The Lady Cyclones fell 9-0 to the Lady Vikings in the winner’s bracket finale in the District 1-3A tournament on Tuesday night at Sullivan East.
Elizabethton will face the winner of the Volunteer and Sullivan East game on Wednesday night at 7:30 in an elimination game.
Volunteer and Sullivan East are scheduled for a 5p first pitch.
It was a battle from the first pitch. Elizabethton was unable to get a run across the board, and trailed Tennessee High 2-0 going to the bottom of the sixth.
The Lady Vikings plated seven runs in the home side of the sixth to take control.
Elizabethton was able to get a pair of hits in the top of the seventh, but was unable to rally.
