Elizabethton was unable to keep pace with the hot bats of Science Hill.
The Cyclones dropped an 18-2 decision on Tuesday at Joe O’Brien Field in nonconference action.
After SHHS jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the top of the first, Elizabethton answered with two runs in the home side of the inning.
That, however, was as close as the Cyclones could get as Science Hill was able to take the win.
Hayden Nave, Cade Russell, Gage Treadway and Peyton Johnson each had a hit.
Russell finished with two RBI.
