The ETSU football team made a pit stop in Carter County on Thursday night.
The Buccaneers continued spring workouts with a scrimmage at Citizen’s Bank Stadium on the campus of Elizabethton High School.
ETSU has three Carter County athletes – Chad Pritchard (Elizabethton), Adam Mullins (Elizabethton) and Asley Haynes (Cloudland) – on the roster.
The Bucs went just over an hour on the field getting the offense some work. Nick Sexton went 10-of-13 passing for 145 yards and a score, while Austin Herink went 9-of-13 passing for 179 yards and two scores in his time.
JaJuan Lankford had 69 yards on seven carries to lead the ETSU ballcarriers.
