Elizabethton picked up a huge District win on Tuesday.

The Lady Cyclones outdueled Tennessee High 4-2 in Upper Lakes Conference play at Elizabethton.

After the first two innings saw both teams leave runners stranded, Tennessee High broke onto the board in the top of the second with two runs.

The Lady Cyclones, however, answered in a big way.

Maddie O’Quinn opened the frame with a single, and Ember Jensen added a double to get into scoring position.

Kenidy Harris put the ball in play at the next at-bat to drive O’Quinn across the plate, and Jensen scored off a Pritchard single.

Elizabethton took a 3-2 lead after Mollie Johnson drove Harris across the plate.

The Lady Cyclones added a run in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead, and then limited the Lady Vikings to secure the win.

O’Quinn was 3-for-4 at the palte, while six Lady Cyclones recorded a hit.

In the circle, Pritchard picked up the win as she allowed just one earned run on eight hits with six strikeouts.
