An incredible performance captured the first Climate Controllers Player of the Week for 2019.

Elizabethton’s Bryson Rollins was selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the Cyclones’ 28-20 victory over Science Hill in Week 1 action. It was a tough decision as Rollins edged teammate Cade Maupin for the honor.

Rollins took care of business both on the ground and in the air for EHS.

The sophomore averaged 5.9 yards per carry as he recorded 107 yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns against the Hilltoppers. While splitting time at quarterback, Rollins was 5-of-6 passing for 94 yards and another touchdown.

A short reception gave Rollins 204 total yards in the game.

Rollins and company are slated to return to action in Week 3 (Sept. 6) at Sullivan East after taking this Friday for the traditional bye week.
