Happy Valley saw Dustun Sams cross home plate in the final inning to take a 3-2 lead over Sullivan Central.
Bart Wilson went 2-for-3, while Landon Morefield had a 2-for-4 performance. Sage Haun, Bailey Conley, Hunter Jones, Tyler Hurley and Sams each added a hit.
Hurley pitched up the win as he recorded seven strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work. Tyler Stansberry had a solid effort as he allowed just two earned runs in near five innings of work.
Unaka 12, Hancock County 1 (baseball)
The Rangers scored early and often en route to a 12-1 lead.
Bryson Street went the distance on the round to get the win as he allowed just three hits and had six strikeouts in five innings of work.
The Rangers combined for 11 hits with John Ramsey, John-Wesley Hardin, Justin Houghton and Street having two-hit performances.

Elizabethton picked up a pair of wins in the Eastman Invitational on Thursday.
Against Morristown East, Abbi McKinney and Haley Fair recorded hits, while Kellie Cunningham allowed just one earned run in the pitching circle.
In the Claiborne game, Jessica Cunningham and Lauren Brickey went 2-for-3 each, while Macie Herrmann added a hit. Brickey picked up the win in the pitching circle as she struck out nine batters while allowing just one run on four hits.
