Happy Valley was unable to keep their season alive in the opening round of the TSSAA playoffs.
The Warriors dropped a 41-6 decision to Region 2-2A No. 1 Meigs County on the road in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
HV found themselves in an early holes the Tigers raced out to a 21-0 lead. The Warriors, however, fought back as Will Tittle hit Ty Pierce for a touchdown to cut into the lead in the opening quarter.
Meigs County answered quickly and pushed the lead to 41-6 at the break.
Happy Valley continued to battle, but was unable to get anything going against the stony Tiger defense.
The Warriors were held to 70 yards of offense in the game, while reigning Class 2A Mr. Football Aaron Swafford had 256 yards and four touchdowns to lead the way for Meigs County.
HV finishes the 2019 season with a 7-4 mark.
