Happy Valley celebrated homecoming in style.

The Warriors dominated the first half as they rolled to a 51-8 victory over Sullivan North on Warrior Hill Friday night. HV improves to 5-2 on the season.

Happy Valley started the scoring early.

Two plays into the game, Eli Ayers for Andrew Little for a 39-yard shovel pass for the score, and HV added the two-point conversion. On the next HV drive, Matthew Bahn scored on a one-yard run as HV quickly pushed the lead to 16-0.

Little struck again – this time on the defensive side – as he jumped in front of a North pass and raced 25 yards for the touchdown. HV ended the quarter as Bahn caught a 10-yard pass from Ayers for the touchdown to take a 31-0 lead after the first 12 minutes.

The second quarter was much the same.

Bahn added a 20-yard touchdown along with a six-yard touchdown, while Gabe Nickles scored on an eight-yard run to give the Warriors a 51-0 lead at the break.

Sullivan North broke onto the scoreboard with 2:43 remaining to account for the final scoring.

Bahn surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season as he had 14 carries for 117 yards – all of which came in the first half.

Ayers went 5-of-7 for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Little finished with two interceptions.
