The Lady Cyclones were unable to hold on in the final minutes in their first game at the Tampa Classic.
EHS held a slim 30-26 lead at the break after a back-and-forth battle and pushed the lead to nine entering the final quarter.
However, Orange Park was unable to chip away in the final minutes to take the tight victory.
Lina Lyon had 17 points to lead Elizabethton, while Renna Lane had 13 points. Olivia Holly had seven points.
Unaka 64, Coalfield 51
Lyndie Ramsey and Macy Ensor set the tone for the Lady Rangers on the second day of the Harriman Christmas Classic.
The duo combined for 48 points as Unaka slowly pulled away for the double-digit win.
Ramsey had 26 points to lead the way, while Ensor had 22 points. Kiki Forney added six points.
Cloudland 54, Midway 18
The Lady ‘Landers held the Lady Green wave to just six points in the second half to roll to the win at the Harriman Christmas Classic.
After holding a 9-5 advantage after a quarter of play, CHS pushed the lead to 23-13 at the break.
From there, the defense took over as the Lady ‘Landers outscored Midway 15-4 in the third quarter to take full control.
Karah Fields had 14 points to lead the way, while Isabella Christman had 13 points. Katie Baldwin and Ella Benfield had eight points apiece.
Hampton 89, Scott 72
The Bulldogs used a big second quarter to roll to a win at the Maryville Christmas Classic.
The Bulldogs held a two-point advantage after a quarter of play before outscoring the Highlanders 27-9 in the second quarter to take a 45-25 lead into the half.
From there, it was all Hampton.
Michael Harrison had 24 points to lead the way, while Morgan Lyons had 18 points. Cadon Buckles added 13 points.
Conor Burleson and Logan Whitehead had 10 points apiece.
Cloudland 59, Oakdale 31
The ‘Landers won their fourth straight game with a win over Oakdale.
Cloudland jumped out early and was able to keep Oakdale at bay with a team effort.
