It was all Hampton Friday night.

The Bulldogs jumped out early and never looked back in a 44-0 nonconference win over Johnson County on Friday night.

It was all Hampton from the opening kickoff.

Dominique Burleson took the opening kickoff 84 yards to the endzone as Hampton took an 8-0 lead 12 seconds into the game. After the Longhorns fumbled the ensuing kick, Levi Lunsford scored on a five-yard run and then added the two-point conversion to give Hampton a 16-0 lead five minutes into the game.

The Bulldog dominance continued as Jonathan Greenwell scored on a 52 run, and Chance Point caught a 15-yard pass from Dylan Trivett as Hampton took a 28-0 lead into the second quarter.

Point and Geno Carrico connected for an 11-yard touchdown to push Hampton to the half with a 36-0 lead.

A bank of lights went out during the second quarter as the teams played on the other side of the 50 for the rest of the game.

Hampton scored on a one-yard run from Brody Hicks in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring.

Lunsford finished with 91 yards on nine carries, while Greenwell had 50 yards on three runs and added a 29 yard catch.

Point was 3-for-3 passing for 49 yards, while adding three carries for 23 yards.
