The Bulldogs continued to hold steady atop the latest Tennessee AP Prep Football polls.
Hampton was ranked No. 1 in Class 2A once again in this week’s version of the AP poll.
The Bulldogs garnered 12-of-18 first-place votes to tally 173 points in this week’s poll. Tyner Academy, which received five first-place votes, remained at No. 2 with 167 points.
Huntington jumped to No. 3 with Riverside and Fairley coming in at No. 4 and No. 5.
Hampton dispatched South Greene this past week.
The Bulldogs are slated to hit the road Friday night at Gatlinburg-Pittman. That game has been nominated as a Tennessee Titans Game of the Week nominee.
