Hampton climbed two spots and Elizabethton held steady in this week’s TSWA/USA Today Network Prep Poll.
In Class A, Hampton climbed two spots to No. 6 after dispatching North Greene on Friday night. The Bulldogs tallied 67 points, while Clay County came in at No. 5 with 95 points.
The top five remained the same, with McKenzie and South Pittsburg holding down the top two spots, respectively.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton held steady at No. 7 after rolling past Northview Academy. The Cyclones tallied 86 points – just two points behind No. 6 Upperman and five points behind No. 5 Springfield.
Alcoa was the unanimous No. 1 with Anderson County and Greeneville coming in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
